Today, the inhabitants of the village refer to the same chapel as the chapel of Agios Agapios and Jesus Christ, a name used for decades. This was the gathering place for the women who washed their clothes using “alousiva” (lye made from ash), drying them on the dry stone terraces and carrying them home along with the jars of water.
